Abstract

|
This study analysed the relationship of health and life satisfaction among 326 rural elderlies at Chungnam, Chungyang in 2004, Based upon the findings and conclusions of previous studies, T-test and ANOA were applied in analyzing the relationship of health and life satisfaction
Our results show that rural elderlies’s life satisfaction increase significantly when their education and their cost of living on monthly are higher. And Their life satisfaction increase significantly when their perception of subjective health is higher and when their practices of health behaviors are higher. In results, this study suggested the following policy guidelines. First, exercise program for rural elderlies will be supply at rural community hall. Second, Mobile Welfare Canter and Health Center It is necessary to provide for health education and health checkup. Third, because the most of rural elderlies are placed to low economic situation, we suggests that the job-creating for rural elderlies must to provide
